Seán Murphy

Deputy Chief Executive, Chambers Ireland

Seán Murphy oversees Chambers Ireland's Public Affairs and Stakeholder Partnerships and is responsible for developing and co-ordinating the network's policy agenda while also communicating with government, political parties, social partners, the media and other policy and decision makers.

Murphy previously worked as a communications manager with Science Foundation Ireland.  Prior to this he worked in the technology industry for seven years, completing client assignments and postings in France, Britain, Ireland and the USA.  

He holds an honours MA in Politics from UCD; a Certificate in Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley’s Extension school and a Diploma in Business Finance from the Irish Management Institute. Murphy was appointed Company Secretary in September 2008 and Deputy Chief Executive in Summer 2009.
