Shay Cody

Deputy General Secretary - IMPACT

Shay Cody is the Deputy General Secretary of IMPACT and a member of the Executive Council of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU). Shay has been involved in the Public Service Modernisation Process as well as representing staff interests in the privatisation of eircom and Aer Lingus.

He has served on the Trustee Board of the eircom ESOT since its establishment in 1998 and he is currently the Chairperson of the Aer Lingus ESOT.

He was also a member of the Review Group on Auditing established following the Public Accounts Committee investigation into bogus non resident accounts.
